Production has officially wrapped on the upcoming gangster film Hit, a tense, character-driven crime thriller led by Hollywood veteran Robert Davi and EastEnders star Shona McGarty. Cameras stopped rolling in mid-July, marking the end of an intensive and tightly scheduled shoot.
Directed and produced by an emerging creative team, Hit blends classic underworld grit with a modern, emotional edge. The film follows intersecting lives within a dangerous criminal network, anchored by Davi’s signature gravitas and McGarty’s first major leap into feature-film territory.
Davi, known for his iconic roles in Die Hard, The Goonies and License to Kill, brings his trademark intensity to the project. McGarty, celebrated for her long-running portrayal of Whitney Dean, steps into a darker, more complex role that pushes her dramatic range.
Producers say the cast’s on-screen chemistry was evident from day one, helping drive the film’s raw, street-level authenticity. Locations included a mix of urban backstreets, atmospheric interiors, and real-world criminal hideouts that deepen the film’s gritty tone.
With principal photography now complete, Hit moves into post-production, where editing, scoring, and final polish will shape the finished feature. A release date is expected to be announced later this year.
Stay tuned for updates, trailers, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content as Hit prepares to make its entry into the crime-thriller spotlight.
